Family,
I have some great news that I wanted to share with everyone. I just found out where I am going to be stationed for the next 4 years. I received my top choice and will be living in the San Francisco area at Travis Air Force Base. It is actually located in Fairfield, Ca which is about 40 miles northeast of San Francisco and about 30 miles from Oakland. My job is a civil engineer which works out well since it was my first choice as well.
Hope all is well and I cannot wait to get home for Christmas.

That is great news! Do you know what Fairfield is most famous for in our Thornhill family????? The Jelly Belly Factory is there. We vivted it last April during spring break. You'll love it. Also it is close to Napa & Sonoma so if you need any hot tips on the best wineries and restaurants that we've been to, I have a whole list!!

That is amazing you got your top choice!!! Brian and I will definately be in the Bay area by the time you get there. We were thinking in the next 6 months we will be relocating. Probably around Los Gatos or Palo Alto area, but we will definately have you over for dinners and to do your laundry. (It takes a while to accumulate enough money from a real job to decline those offers.) Can't wait to have more relatives in the Bay area!!! Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!
