Maria - do we get to bring gifts to the gig of gigs at your house next Thursday? Last year some lucky dog got a TV from our basement. As a matter of fact, I think we parted with two TVs and some other cool stuff. (I don't recall getting any thank yous from the recipients.)
I had a late pick and was able to trade up and get a copy of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" which I have been meaning to reread. Many thanks to whoever gave me that timeless tome.
Say the word and we'll head down to Main Street or down to the basement to find the right little something for some lucky loved one.

That copy of ZATAOMM came from my library, and it's not the only copy of that book I've given away. Matter of fact, you've given me an idea for this years white elephant. Thanks!
Well, I specifically rememeber getting ZATAOMM last year but already had a copy on my ipod that I was in the process of listeneing to, so I took the oppurtunity to trade it to some lucky individual (must've been U. Dan) for a painted, mounted, rotting bird that graced my college house wall for the next 6 months. Quite a trade, quite a trade. Can't wait for this year, I'll really have to dig to the bottom of the last of the Chinese Junk barrel to find something good to offer up. er
