TCP Girls Basketball

Hi all, since I don't have any homework tonight (whoo-hoo!!:-D), I decided to tell you all how our girls basketball team is doing here at Prep. First of all, I played on JV and we had a winning season this year on JV, (I believe we only lost about 6 games, which is very good for a Prep girls team, by the way. It was also the first winning girls season at Prep!)
Recently, the varsity has been in the post season (also a first) and we placed third in league. Not exactly what we were hoping for, but we were in the tournament so it worked out fine. We are now in the District Tournament and we lost our first game on Tuesday pretty badly. Yesterday we played again, since it is a double elimination tournament and we played Liberty Christian (our rivals who aren't very Christian if you know what i mean......).
In the past at Prep, we have never beat Liberty in girls basketball before. Earlier this season and for the league tournament, we have played them three times and have come very close to beating them each time. So, last night, our fourth time playing them, we beat them for the first time (but definitely not last) in Prep history!! It was a great game, especially for the seniors on our team who have worked so hard to come this far for all the years that they have been at Prep. Michelle had two points and played very hard the whole game and I was able to suit up and go in a few times. It was a great experience and I can't wait to do it again next year!!:) BTW--We are the only Blue Mountain League team left in the tournament right now!!
We play again tomorrow night at 4:30 in Colfax and if we win we will go to state(!!!) so, if all of you would pray for our team, for a safe ride up and a good game, we would all appreciate it very much! Thanks!
I love you all!

Nadda Mucho

ER

Update

I don't have much to update, just trying to get the blogging going. Still working in town, still loving the fact that I don't have a "long distance" anymore, and still in the coolest neighbor hood in town! Good seeing Colleen for a while, love hanging out with all the new ones, and love the mandatory (1.5x) mandatory overtime!

Other than that, not much to blog, just blogging for the blog of it.

Love yall!
