hey the guy from jostens came to desales the other day for the sophomores so we can order our class rings. whoever can find the oldest class ring and bring it in, will receive a free ring. if any of you have, or know of one i could borrow, just for this upcoming week, that would be awesome. i am going to be in town on sunday on my way back from the tacoma dome. if you have one, please call 301 1581 and let me know. thanks a bunch.

Or maybe YOU should ask great Uncle Tom!? What, are you afraid of old people or something?
haha. no i just thought that you guys would see him on sunday, but alright john, i will. haha. go irish!
I have one, but it is from 2000. I guess that is old, but not reallllllyyyyyy old!!!!
I always thought class rings were kindof dorky. Maybe a college or law school one would be OK, but REALLY: do you want to be that guy who is wearing his high school class ring when he is trying to get a date in college? ("yea, baby. Look where I WENT to school. Its right on my ring!") No. It is nice to get one, only in the sense that it is 'getting something', and I like to get THINGS. but when it comes to the practicality of it all, or the fashionability of it all, or the girl getting potential of it all, it just doesnt add up. Save the 200 dollars and use it on your first dozen dates in college. (those would be cheap dates, but what the hell). BTW: you may be paying like, 200 bucks for the thing, but the markup on those Jostens products are probably 1000 percent. It's a ripoff. But you do what you gotta do, shangsta T!

haha. brian, i want to see if i can use it to get a state championship ring! not a class ring, i agree with you on that. but a state champions football ring....that would be sick
I had tried to post a comment on this earlier in relation to high school rings and how you only get one if you aren't planning on going to college. But then you only get a college ring if you aren't planning on going to law school, but by the time you get to law school I think its too late for the ring since $200 by the time you have your J.D. is worth a $1000 because of all the debt you are in.
But, this has no relation to State Football Championship Rings of which I never had the chance to get and probably would still only sport if I knew that I was going to lay the hurt on somebody and I wanted a little knuckle protection.
Closing remarks, wait until your senior year, then win state, then ask Uncle Tom or someone older to lend you their ring so you can get one for free, then when you get to college take the dozen girls out on cheap dates with your senior year, state champions ring on and impress the heck out of them.
That's a great plan if I've ever heard one. er
im with eamonn on this one. if you win state football senior year ill even buy it for you. eamonn is right about high school rings as well, they are for those who dont go to college. however, college rings are different. i cant wait to be sporting my nd ring come christmas.
i agree. thanks. i was only going to get ring if i could get it for free, and it would be a state ring.
