I, too, am entering blog land for the first time. I fear that I will forget to check it. Does it send email updates, or do I have to go to blogger.com to check it? Pretty embarrassing that I don't know more.
About the real Roach (Sullivan) family reunion--I must not have been included on the email list. As far as I have heard, it's been scheduled for summer 2007. Is that right? I'll see what I can do to clear my calendar. Who knows, maybe I will be back on the west/best coast by then...

It doesn't send email updates. If this thing works how I hope it will, it would end up sending you 15 emails a day telling you every time someone added a new post, or commented on a post.
The whole idea is that you make it a part of your daily ROUTINE. Just like checking your email, brushing your teeth, or calling your curly-haired girlfriend if you're Dom.
Also, you don't have to go to blogger.com to check it. Just bookmark "http://manyroaches.blogspot.com" and check that. You can see the blog and add comments from there. If you want to make a new post, you can click on the Blogger icon in the upper left-hand corner to launch the Blooger dashboard.
